Our policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains, contractor services or in any other part of our business.
The Spill Training Academy operates and ensures an equal opportunity in the recruitment, retention and development of all employees. We seek to adhere to all applicable employment legislation for all of our employees.

The Spill Training Academy monitors it’s contractors and supply chains to ensure, as far as possible that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within those supply chains and contractors.
Our commitment for slavery and human trafficking
The Spill Training Academy commits to identify and eradicate slavery and human trafficking from within our business and from those businesses in which we interact with. The Spill Training Academy works closely with our supply chains to ensure compliance with legislative obligations and we expect that organisations we work with to have anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes in place. We are always seeking long term relationships with our key suppliers and contractors and will always make clear our expectations of ethical business behaviour from them. We have in place systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle-blowers.
Our values with Human Trafficking and Slavery
Our board of directors and senior management team are responsible for the compliance in all retrospective departments and are responsible for identifying if there is perceived to be a risk of encouraging, engaging and sustaining slavery and human trafficking.
Training and Awareness
The Spill Training Academy endeavours to ensure that all members of the team are aware of modern slavery and human trafficking and the risks involved in carrying any of these activities.
The statement is made to pursuant to Section 54 (1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes The Spill Training Academy’s Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the current financial year.
